Sales Executive

Reporting to: General Manager 

Overall purpose of the job: 

Do you have a passion for sales and building meaningful connections with clients? We are actively seeking individuals from diverse backgrounds who are eager to make a mark in the world of sales.

If you are working within the building or HVAC sectors, or if you’re in a junior sales role and looking to take a step up, then we want to hear from you!

Main Responsibilities & Duties:

·         Establish and maintain relationships with installers, plumbers, contractors, and maintenance companies in the HVAC industry and related market sectors

·         Actively prospect for new potential clients and generate sales leads through various channels

·         Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential customers

·         Prepare and deliver persuasive sales proposals to secure new business opportunities

·         Engage in consultative selling by understanding client needs and providing appropriate product recommendations

·         Maintain regular communication with existing customers to ensure customer satisfaction and identify up-selling opportunities

·         Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., marketing, internal sales, operations) to provide market insights and customer feedback

·         Attend trade shows, industry events, and relevant networking opportunities to expand the customer base

·         Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets and objectives

·         Continuously update knowledge of industry trends, product developments, and competitors’ offerings

·         Complete administrative tasks related to sales activities, including regular reporting, pipeline management, and CRM updates 

Key Attributes & Skills:

·         Previous experience in a sales role within the HVAC sector desirable but not required as full training will be given

·         Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively build and maintain relationships with clients

·         A self-starter who is highly motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working independently

·         Exceptional negotiation and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate product benefits

·         Knowledge of HVAC products and their applications is advantageous

·         Proficient computer skills, including experience with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite

·         Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

·         A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
