EPS is supported by the Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation through Enterprise Ireland.
Founded in December 1968 and with 340 employees throughout Ireland, UK and Middle East, EPS is one of the leading design, build and asset management companies in the markets in which it operates. The new facility, which is currently subject to a planning application process with Cork County Council, will be an industry-leading centre of excellence for the design and manufacture of key products utilised in the construction of water and wastewater treatment plants.
EPS is unique in that not only does it provide the design, build and asset management aspects of projects, it also designs and manufactures the essential and critical equipment components required for a typical water and wastewater treatment plant. It is one of a few genuine end to end service providers in the global water sector.
Subject to a successful outcome to the planning process, the company intends to begin construction immediately in the summer, with an expected completion time of 12 months. Construction will create 35 construction jobs to facilitate the completion of the project. Welcoming the announcement, Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, Richard Bruton said:
